Charles is the Managing Consultant for VerSprite’s Governance Risk and Compliance practice specializing in both assessing and building technology risk & compliance programs for clients, with extensive experience doing so in the FinTech space. Areas of expertise include implementing and assessing regulatory compliance, privacy, information security and risk management programs; developing and implementing cybersecurity frameworks; building business-first information security compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, CCPA,GDPR, PCI, NYDFS Cyber).

Charles has over 11 years of experience in financial services and risk management. Before joining VerSprite Charles was heading up Enterprise Risk Management at a venture backed FinTech. Charles graduated with a MBA from Georgetown University where he received the Entrepreneurial Excellence award and holds a B.Sc in Economics and Finance from Southern Methodist University.
